KM 184's are cardoid only. And they rock. ;)
Oh, and re: this particular auction, for a new set, it's in the ballpark, but I'm pretty sure you can find them cheaper (how's that for helping? :P).....

+t exactly what i wanted to know.
i saw a bunch of these up, but it hink this was the only set.
(asking ?s now, because when $ gets here it probly won't stay long) ;D

No problemo...aside from the fact that you can't switch patterns, I really like my 184's. They've performed well in a number of different taping situations, and provide a really nice fat bottom end with the V2. I've seen em go for around 800 in the Yard Sale. Have fun spending your dough!

I'm gonna say that 1000 is a little much. I picked mine up for around 800-900 I think
-
i have seen a bunch of pairs sell for 800 to 900 bucks, and I saw a pair sell for as low as 650, but that is out of the ordinary. 1000 is a good deal if you need mics now and nothing used is for sale.
