diagnosis?

I suppose this is the best place to post this..

The computer I use to do transfers is beginning to make hollow sounding click noises(allmost like a "knocking" sound) when the hard drive is spinning..  Is it beginning to fail?  I have never heard anything like this before, so I really dont know....

yes, that is the sound of a hard drive failing - backup NOW!
