ad2k+ service....

     Damaged my input power jack....( 4 pin xlr mounted on unit.....)  Anyone have an idea who does service?     Paul at pro-digi in Broomall Pa said he could do it....just wonder who others sent their units to for repair

benchmark wont help?

paul at pr-digital can fix anything so long as there are schematics and parts available.

Check with Benchmark. They should still have the parts for this and will do the work. Paul is pretty much the "man" when it comes to these things as you have already found out.

Like the Apogee AD1K, Benchmark's AD2K+ has some circuitry that they can no longer get, so some things might not be able to be repaired. However, the power input jack is pretty common, so it shouldn't be a factor.

unless I'm mistaken, those things have a five year warranty on parts and service. call benchmark.

Exactly.  I don't understand how Benchmark could not support the product.  You may want to contact whatever distributor the unit was purchased through as well.

Benchmark replaced the power jack, and bench tested the unit free of charge......thanks
