Hey there...
I need to run video for a band without sacrificing the audio. My plan is to run the audio out from either the 302 or the 744T. The video camera is, I believe, a Canon 4K - or some such other high quality stereo camcorder that records to SD cards. To narrow down the question, although I'm opened to all suggestions, the 302 has a tape out/mix out (TA-3) connection which seems to be made for this sort of thing...and the 744T has a tape out (mini). The input on the video camera is an 1/8" stereo mini. Of course, there's always the headphone jacks, but I would like to run a 3 mic set-up, and I'm pretty sure that only 2 channels will come through the headphones.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I'm not super familiar with the 744 but I assume you can set the output level on the tape out. I would set the input level conservatively on the camera and on the deck then give it a trial run at home. You can probably tweak the output on the 744 while recording easier than the input level of the camera so I would find a safe and conservative level on the camera side and go with it.
