As I would like to go 24/96 with my R-09HR I know that I would need a fast SD-card. Any recommendations (brand, type etc.)?
Thanks!

I used Kingston SDHC Class4 and Class6 (4GB and 16GB) without any problem, hope this helps

I currently have a collection of several 8GB and 16GB Transcend and ADATA Class 6 cards. I've been happy with the results thus far. I've run class 4 and class 2 before....ran into problems with class 2. Class 4's seemed fine.

I think just about any large, new SD/sdhc card you get this day will work, I would be surprised to actually hear of one writing too slow.
I use Kingston SDHC class 6 8 gig, I believe. Every once and a while you can find that card listed for ~$20.

I had a problem with an adata 16gb class 6 (R-09HR). Recording would stop after 10-15 minutes, even with the hold switch in place.
I called Roland (makers of Edirol) and they recommended using class 2 cards. So I got a Kingston 8gb class 2. Haven't had a chance to use it yet. The ruined recording of the last show really ticked me off - one of the best shows in a long time, and my recording crapped out.

I've been using a couple Toshiba 16G SDHC4's for a few month and they've worked great so far. $29 each at Sam's Club...

I switch out 2 ADATA 16GB Class 6's all the time, and never had a problem with them. I also use a couple of Kingston 8GB Class 6 cards without any issues whatsoever...

Thanks for all the replys!

I also had an A-data 16gb class 6 card stop recording at 24/96 during moe.down recently.
I restarted the recording and it worked fine from there, but still. The A-Data has always worked fine in the R-44, but I won't use it in the R-09HR. A one time error is one time too many in my eyes.
