722 A/D board question
« on: October 29, 2008, 04:19:36 PM »
I just picked up a 722 in the yardsale. How do I tell if it has the A/d board replaced already? What was the issue with the originals?

there's a lot of good info in this thread:

(both a summary of the problem - with pics, and a range of affected serial numbers)

Another excellent source of info on SD is the company's website.  They also have user support forums: forums.sounddevices.com.

You have a fine piece of hardware that should last many years.  If the HD craps out it is easy to replace.  I think the company website even shows you how to do it.  Tape on!    8)
