dropped samples...help!
« on: June 16, 2004, 12:20:44 PM »
I did a search for this on the forum and didn't really find any answer,
so here goes:

Started listening to some of the stuff I recorded from bonnaroo last
weekend And occasionally I have spots where samples are dropped.

My rig consists of:

Sennheiser me66/k6 > Denecke Ad20 > VxPocket V2 > dell inspiron 8500

I've got my laptop setup running winXP Pro and configured according to
The faq's around the net for optimum laptop recording.  Anyone
Have any ideas or thoughts on why I am dropping samples? Is this a
latency Issue? Are there settings for a buffer of some sort to avoid this?

Any help is appreciated!
