What difference would it make if they are RA or Not?

There is no difference, just wanted to know if they would fit properly.

ah, the older bulkier ra by neutrik sometimes do not fit , but you could always swap them out for the new style ra's which are nice and slim

I think you should sell them to me and get a brand new pair.
Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.

Doesn't it depend on which way the cable exits the unit once plugged in? I know I'm very particular how I want my RA XLR's to fit with the cable exiting a certain position. It seems to change every time I either change bags or change equipment.

yes and no
some new recorders the xlr inputs are to close together to use old ra connectors - period
once you have connectors that fit your recorder then yes the angle at which the cable exists matters based on how you want to set up your bag and what others knobs you might need to see and such

Or...
you could make your own DIY Right angle XLR's for the FR2-LE
like I did here:

http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=116759.msg1560729#msg1560729

or perhaps get some custom made from some of the cable builders here on TS

You're right! I do remember having some cables where the connectors were too big to fit next to each other on the 7xx recorder. Found that out in the field  :-[
