Like I said before I've had to physically hold my stand at Red Rocks before to prevent it from blowing away. The Big Ass Shures worked under those conditions. Obviously you can't do anything about wind phasing other than getting closer to the source.

Funny you said that, I had to hold my stand down at Red Rocks in 2001 for Trey, cant remember if it was 1st or 2nd night tho :) ;D 8)

Pretty sure I was at that show.

I remember pouring rain and heavy heavy winds. I had my full rain gear on with waterproof boots and my gear was in a waterproof bag, so I was fine.

A lot of folks around me were in shorts and t-shirts and appeared to not be having a very good time.

Yeah, I am ALWAYS prepared for rain at festivals. I carry a bookbag w rain gear in it at ALL TIMES :)
