Clamp help!
« on: March 31, 2013, 02:29:57 PM »
I'm trying to find an adapter that would allow me to mount my stereo bar on the Pedco Ultraclamp 4" clamp. I believe I need a 1/4 female to 5/8 male adapter, but I'm coming up empty trying to find one. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would me much appreciated. Thanks!

Preamps: Lunatec V2| Shure FP24| Naiant PIPsqueak

The only one-piece adapter I'm aware of is the AEA-TA1 (about 4/5 down the page). I vaguely recall someone posted another one here on ts but I don't recall who posted, who makes the adapter or where on ts the post is.

The above is rather expensive. You'll save some money by using a 1/4>3/8 then a 3/8>5/8 adapter. Both can be had from B&H photo cheaper than the above one-piece.

I'd love to see TS.com settle on a mic thread, as a standard. But that will never happen. Just want to make life in the clamping section easier...
