I patched from a pair of B1's in 2002 if you'd like to hear them.

Bela Fleck & the Flecktones
6/30/02 - Harmony Park, Geneva, MN
Behringer B1 > DA-P1

HP is one of the better sounding (small) outdoor venues I've ever heard so the recording may sound better than the mics normally do. PM me if interested.

just a warning, behringer products are nutoriously cheaply built with very high self noise.  ive NEVER heard a behringer product i liked.

I have a behringer 24 point patchbay that I like very much.  Their stuff is not the top of the line, but some of it is very cost-effective.

mine came soldered  ;)  not that I'm fluffing behringer gear or anything, but don't rule out all their stuff.  Some of it is great for people just starting out or low on $.

Yo, the donald here, this jpschust guy here is so quick on the draw with his Behringer coments. What is up man?  Did you used to work there and they screwed you over or something?

anyways.....
I have the B2 pro's and I find them to be of a very high quality. I saw them on GC for 149 they came with flight case and mounts. and have 3 difrent patterns as well as a bass roll off and DB cut. its a swiss army mic if you ask me.

if you want to here what they sound like go here....

nah never worked there, done a TON of studio work and evaluated a number of products for purchase.  my comment was more of a general nature towards behringer, just as one could make a general comment towards neumann as having great quality control.  the thing that tends to seperate wonderful audio companies from the poor companies tends to be quality of components, amount of self noise, and build quality.  Behringer is nutoriously bad on all of these.  Behringer is really a company that relies on the low end of studio gear.

quite honestly, everyone should form their own opinion on gear and manufacturers.  I can sit here and bash Schoeps every day of the week...does that mean that the product sucks?  No, neither does it mean that it sucks because Jonny calls behringer out as being "crap" (which is a statement that I dont agree with in totallity...most companies make crap somewhere in their product lines).  Overly generalistic statements about every product that a company makes will more than likely be wrong at some point in their product portfolio.

Bottom line, if you like what you run, ignore everyone elses comments.

ok had some downtime, so i grabbed a track to listen to- (d1t4).  I just grabbed a random track to test things out.  The mics seem to carry the low decently, though its a touch muddy.  Unfortunately, however, the highs don't really shine.  That sax is really too dark for my liking.    I'm not trying to rip your tape apart, just giving my feedback on what im hearing.  Overall its a pretty good tape, nice mix of the crowd vs msic, though something seems to not be quite right to my ears.

FYI- I'm playing this back via a pair of active tannoy reveals
