Title: Cause of this?
Post by: obsidian on April 03, 2018, 03:46:12 AM
I'm working on a show I recorded and it looks to have some issues ... without knowing the proper terminology it looks to be heavy on the "below 0" line instead of an even split (see picture). What causes this and most importantly how do I fix it from happening again?  Is there anything I can do now in Audition and/or iZotope?

Thank you so much!  That was a GREAT read and I learned a few things (old dog learning new tricks).  Fixing it in iZotope was a snap. Done and done.

Thanks, I've noticed this with trumpet recordings. Good explanation.
