AA and charger recommendations for powering SD mp2

Have a buddy who has an mp2 and has decided to use AA. I anyone has  handy links to a good charger and rechargeable AA I'd really appreciate. Thanks!

I'm not a great "Charger Mind" but the one I go packaged w/4 eneloop's by Panasonic seems serviceable. Google BQ-CC17. Also you might be interested in the black "pro" AA versions of the white 1900 mah. They come rated at 2450 mah, but IIRC don't have as many charging cycles to their credit.  I  think I fell into these here abouts, you could try a search or wait for a better answer.   ;)

Also bear in mind that unless the SD mp2 has had the spring "upgrade" in the battery chamber by SD, rechargeable batteries won't work out of the package.

However there is a really simple mod that can be done to the batteries. Just trim a bit of the plastic wrapper/sleeve from the top remove it and the little doughnut-shaped wafer surrounding  the tip.
