Turntable advice - Good deal or no?
(1/1)
lsd2525:
Probably too late to ask, but this table popped up in my local facebook yard sale. Listed as "like new" for $60. If it is as advertised, could I go wrong in forking over $60 for a B&O table?
I hope not, GF on way to pick up. Any advice on what I should do to or with it is appreciated.

Score!
Looks like a Beogram RX

I just unwrapped my first turntable (Music Hall MMF 2.2) but the thing I remember reading about B&O tables is replacement cartridges will be expensive. Hopefully it'll be in nice condition. Here's replacement cartridges: $250 https://www.sound-smith.com/bo-replacement-cartridge-models#smmc20e Assuming it's this tt: https://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=273

Yikes! That's crazy!
Turntable looks like it's in good shape. Dust cover a little scratched up but I expected that.
I meant to write down the model number and forgot to, but I think it is the 1602.
