Battery-powered coax2optical
« on: March 14, 2005, 02:51:43 PM »
Hi
reconsidering my needs, i'd like to know if there's a battery-powered (or ready to be) coax2optical converter.
And i'd like to know your opinion about those cigarette-box-sized coax2opt converters like the Daytona or the PartExpress.

Many of the generic digital format converters have proven unreliable with much of the gear tapers use regularly.  Check out the Hosa ODL-276, it's proven pretty darn bulletproof.  Best place to buy:  Full Compass, ~$55 shipped - don't pay attention to their web pricing, give 'em a call instead.
