Topic: Memorex DVD Double-Layer Recorder16x16 Dual Format Internal ???

I have a Memorex DVD Double-Layer Recorder16x16 Dual Format Internal and it stopped allowing me to burn disc. Also when I put a blanck CDR, DVDR, CD audio (commercial or CDR) it does not reconize the CD. The only disc it reconizes is DVD and I checked all the properties of the drive. All the drives are up to date, the driver shows it works, I d/l the latest firmware, and I even checked inside my tower for loose connections. Nothing, please help. Thanks in advance for any help .
