I got a hirose from SD but they charged a lot. I think a regular parts house might be cheaper.
You can put a regular 4 pin XLR with the hirose, then use either an SLA or even a car lighter adapter on the other side as a source. with the car adapter you can recharge driving between shows.
i was thinking more along the lines of having rc tamoiy(sp?) connectors on the other end rather than an xlr cause i wanna get a few 12v 4000mah RC batts, SLA's are just too heavy for this lightweight rig
i have 12 x 3000mah NIMH rc batts i am gonna use w/ the v2 when i eventually get one
and the rc>3amp fuse>xlr setup leegeddy made me is perfect for the v2 when i get one, its rc end has 3 rc plugs, and i made my 7.2v battery packs in 3's, so i am gonna have 9000mah NIMH battery packs to sue w/ the v3, id liek to do the same w/ the 12v 4000mah ones, so a hirose>2 rc tamoiy ends would be perfedct, that way i could hotswap the rc batts when using the 722
how much did SD charge you??? wonder if the manual says what kind of hirose connector that isd ??
