RME ADI-2 users?

I was looking for an outboard A/D for my rig and ran across this unit in some back posts in this section.  Has anybody gotten around to using one of these?  I read on Gearslutz that Jim Williams can modify them as well.  Any tapes or experiences with this A/D?

I am debating whether to get this, a Mytek, or just stick to what I have now.  Any thoughts or opinions?
