not great for all of our applications but looks slick and fits in a camera bag!

Those ropes are going to be a huge tripping hazard. In a dark show they will be invisible, and anything from a foot to a hand with a beer in it will get tangled up in that (since the rope goes so far up the stand). This may be great for its intended purpose, but I'm not interested in it for concert recording.

Maybe they can be made sufficiently thin enough to slash the offending person's calves if'n they get too close to your mics.

No recording expert but have about 45 years of photography semi pro. I cant see the tripod holding a full frame DSLR with 70-200 lens still, the base seems very low and not that stable. Happy to be proved wrong though. Good luck.
