as long as the 661 was set to digital input, no other settings/level adjustments on the 661 are relavent...  but i can't speak for the mini-me.
gotta be an issue with the mini-me or mikes or cables IMO.

This is correct. The 661 is nothing more than a bit bucket.


From the YS thread where he bought it the original seller said the jumpers were already set to low.

I think this should be double-checked. From all descriptions provided, it would seem most likely that the gain is still set to high. Using the soft-limit in this situation is not a solution.

Towards the end of the user manual explains how to do it.  Unscrew the top two screws on the front and back and the case should lift right off.  The jumpers are up by the XLR housings.
