Title: question for slingbox owners

so i just moved into a new apartment.  my old roommate moved to hong kong for a year for work, and he wants to watch US tv.  so he's thinking he might want to put a slingbox over here somewhere

my question is this:  how much bandwidth is this thing going to use? If i put it at my place, is this going to use enough bandwidth that cablevision is going to think I'm running a server?
