CA 9100 preamp switch question
« on: February 06, 2010, 10:59:48 AM »
I have question concerning a switch on the CA 9100 preamp. There is a switch inside were the battery goes. Is that for bass roll off and if so which direction is for on and which is for off and how much roll off does it do?

Yes, it is the bass roll off (aka HPF - high pass filter).  On mine, it is written in silver pen in the compartment - ON and OFF.  Off is the off position for the bass roll off and how I always run mine.  If I need to roll off bass, I do it in post.
