DVD+RW Does it need to be finalized?
« on: May 07, 2007, 04:31:31 PM »
I read here:

http://creativekarma.com/ee.php/weblog/comments/dvd_formats_for_video_recording_2006/

that dvd+rw does not need to be finalized.

I made a DVD in my DVD standalone recorder using a DVD+RW and I tried to finalize it after making the movie so that it can be played on other DVD players. The finialize option does not show up.

So is it true DVD+RW does not need to be finalized to be playable on other DVD players? I know DVD-R needs to be finalized before it can be played on other DVD players.
