Mic repair facilities
« on: December 21, 2018, 01:23:04 AM »
Can anyone recommend a good and reliable mic repair facility in the US?  I have a few Nevaton mics, made in Russia, with issues.  They have a dealer in the US, but service has been extremely slow the last few times I’ve needed to send something in, and I’d love to avoid sending these directly to Russia for repair.  Just wondering what my options are.

It is usually best in the long run to endure the delay (maybe borrow or even rent something else in the meantime), and have the manufacturer or their authorized service station (if there is one) do the work. This is especially true for capsules, which can hardly ever be repaired responsibly by anyone other than the manufacturer.
