Can anyone tell from the picture which is "cardioid" and which is "wide cardioid"
-
I'm taking a guess, so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I would assume the one with more holes is the wide card. I think more openings means wider pattern as an omni usually has the most, but again, I'm not totally sure.
Oops, I got that backwards. It's correct below. Fewer openings make for a wider pattern.

Thanks for the input. I have sent the same
Picture to Peluso and will report back with confirmation.

More likely the other way round:
closed = omni, the more openings the more directional.

Stupid question - they aren't marked on the side as to pattern?

No markings on the outside. When I first got the wide cards there was a very faint "ck21" written on the inside but it has vanished....

I did hear back from John at Peluso Microphone Lab!
The one on top is the wide cardioid
