Nakamichi cm300 JB mod: how many hours with a single 9v battery?

(1/1)

PaulCayard:
Hi, I've recently catch a couple of Nakamichi cm300 JB mod. They are terminated with a 3.5mm mini jack that I plug in a ca9200 or a ca battery box.
I usually tape with at853>ca9200/bbox and I use a single (not rechargeable) 9v battery for two shows (about 6 hours).
Can I use a 9v battery for two shows also with nak cm-300? Or is it safer using a fresh 9v battery for each show?
Thanks for any suggestion (eventually suggestion for excellent 9v rechargeable battery tested on the field with nak cm-300/at853>ca9200/ca-bbox)

Naks current consumption is less than 1 mA. Probably At853 or Ca11 have very similar current consumption too.

Battery box: I use a 9V rechargeable battery that has a capacity of 200 mAh. So two Naks can theoretically last up to 100 hours of operation.
CA9200: see https://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=165651.0

I always used this set as well as the at-853's with a ca-ubb / ca-9200 plus Imedion (the black and grey powerex) true 9.6v batteries

Perfect results all the time.

Kuba e, Robeti, thanks a lot for your suggestion.
I'm very interested in Imedion 9.6V 230mAh, it's the battery that I was looking for!!
