thanks for your quick answer bagtagsell. (#155 +t headed your way)

I got it all wired up and fliped the switch and Nothin    :-\
There was not even any smoke this time  ::)

I am using the following

http://tinyurl.com/5t6op

I have the power part figured out and have checked it with my new fancy smancy multi meter. It shows to have 8.5 v of power . So Im good there as it needs 5-12v to power it.

I have the the tip of the RCA connectors wired to( +) on both pins on the Board  . and then two( -) wires (Y) off to the single ground tip on the board .

Any ideas on where I may be going wrong  ?

TIA
Nick

RCA has a center and a shield , center is hot.
Tip , Ring, and Sleeve are from phone plugs, not RCA phono plugs.]
Confusing, isn't it ?

Anyhow, +T for getting it right.

ya i got the taper ticket right next to Phil.. It will be nice to finally meet the infamous Scooter
I will be running Heaths old 483's into My UA-5
so It will be nice to compare Phils 481's>V3  from the same location.

You run 24bit dont you Scooter?

I pretty much copied your meter box , But I think My box is a bit smaller (its hard to tell from your pic's ) and I went with a Lever switch , otherwise Its identical.. does yours seem very accurate as my levels were all over the place while trying to calibrate. just didnt seem very accurate compared to the meters in SF7

I can't wait for some Mule
See ya there.

Ya, I usually run 24b when there is room for the gear, as does Phil.  If space is tight, I'll run the JB3.  I'll be runnin the 210's>UA5>VXpocket>lap, so it'll be nice to hear all three sources ;).  The levels on my meter are a little jumpy as well, I really don't run it that much any more, I found that the clip light on the UA5 and levels on the lap/JB3 are quite close, so I usually just make shure that the clip light only comes on every now and again, and all is well.  It was a neat project to build though!  See ya at the Uptown...
