Would miagi-II instrument cables be better?
« on: May 09, 2005, 12:45:23 PM »
I am not familiar with the world of instrument cables (guitar 1/4 > 1/4). Would using the silver miagi II's be an improvement? The only reason I think it's different is that hi-z low-z thing...

If you read the reviews, you'll find a pretty consisent description of those cables compared with other interconnects and mic cables.  I would expect the same results for an instrument cable.   Any effects that are frequency dependent in a full range signal may not apply to limited range signal from a particular instrument, but other benefits like clarity and low noise should transfer to any application.
