Topic: AT831CW compared with other 831

I've seen some of those going so cheap on Ebay and I want to be sure what the differences are comparing with other 831 models (appart the connectors)

Can 2 of them be simply plugged to a battery and they will work? or other mods are needed?

Any difference in sound quality? (I've read the specs and they are almost the same as other 831's)
