Feeding a DV camera good audio
« on: October 06, 2003, 09:32:32 PM »
I know this is an audio forum, however...........

Has anyone out there in taper land ever used an attenuation cable successfully to feed a camcorder good audio from a line source?

If so, do you all know of any vendors that sell such a thing?

gracias

Mike

A little good bit more info is needed to answer your question. A situation would be a good starting point...

Yeah - it's 48k PCM but...only 1 hour, no level controls, automatic gain that will ride up and down, probably crappy a>d...but just guessing.

give it a shot - you might not need attenuators.  Mine even provides 1.5v phantom for little bitsy mics.
