Line in to a camcorder?
« on: October 25, 2004, 05:07:41 PM »
Probably a stupid question here.  Can I take a line level audio signal and send it to a mic in on a camcorder?  A friend of mine is going to video tape an upcoming show and I would like to pass him audio from my UA-5.  I'm hoping to go analog line out of the UA-5 into the mic in on the camcorder.  If that's a problem, how about going from the headphone out on the UA-5 to the camcorder.

Thanks for your advice!

if its a mic in, you might need an attenuator cable.

Because nothing says "I have lots of money and am sort of confused as to how to spend it" like Bose.

I have an attenuation cable with three settings. -10,-20,-30 I think. Any recommendations where to start? trial and error?
