Yea, I bet there is, becuase what you record goes into your "recorded files" folder, I bet we could make a different one to put them in... Ill have to do some experimenting with my jb3s...

The filename has the timestamp in it, so just don't stop your decks at the exact same time.

that's one thing about the jb3 that I don't like...that you can't rename files without aid of the computer.

only thing is, if were both taping, how will we know whos set is whos ???

$50 says you couldn't stop on exactly the same timestamp if you tried.

oh i know brian, but for real, it would seem difficult :)

i may just put my timestamp a day ahead or behind, becasue its useless after it leaves the jkb3 anyway

Thats not the problem really, the problem is figuring out (once you get home) who stoped theirs at 2:13:31:014 and who stoped theirs at 2:13:32:428 you know what I mean? ;)

why don't you two chuckleheads just say something at the end of the tape, you know band, date, venue, source....

or is that just too simple? :P

it's the lo-tech soloution to a high-tech problem.  :)

would be easy if you were swapping tapes. Bean's would be the one with drool on it.  ;D

So How's this jb3 > jb3 thing work?
I've got the cable, this idea will REALLY help me and my local jb3-ers out..

Could someone give me the scoop?
I don't really understand how the jb3's would recognize each other without the use of a pc/software etc.

Thanks!

tim's idea is the answer.  before (or after) every gig, I will say "Bean likes the cock" into bean's mics, and "Swampy has sand in his vagina" into swampy's mics.  Problem solved.
