Does anybody know how to clean XLR inputs, or if it is possible to do so? I am used to cleaning my 1/8" mini plugs with isopropanol, but I would imagine the procedure is different for XLR's.

Alcohol is fine. Q-tip or paintbrush.

A comment on cleaning: alcohol contains water so if using any product containing alcohol be sure the connections dry completely. Products better than alcohol to clean the connector contacts is
stabilant 22
or
deoxit gold
.
