Microtrack Compact Flash Card Question
« on: November 14, 2006, 10:15:35 PM »
I am looking to purchase a 2gb compact flash memory card for a Microtrack that I am about to purchase.  I was going to purchase a memory card from Ebay to save some money.  Can anyone verify if the cards listed below will work with the Microtrack?  If there are not compatible, can someone please let me know which cards are compatible?  Thanks so much for the help!  Take care.

Scott

Whatever you do, AVOID EBAY on this one!!!!

At least a few TS members and hundreds of others have been ripped off on the various Ebay CF card scams, including myself.

I'd only buy from newegg.com, amazon.com, etc.

BTW-  I just bought a 4gb Kingston on Newegg for $94.99, but now I'm looking for a 4gb.  The 2gb is way too small unless you are recording in mp3, which I definitely would not reccomend, and the 4gb is almost big enough, but not quite if you want to record an opening band, and then have a long jam out band, or God forbid a 3 or 4 band line up.

A few people have used the transcend 8gb card $169 with good results:

And the 8gb Kingston is also known to work well:

I've had great success with the 4gb Kingston & the 8gb Kingston with my MT...
