I purchased and nbox from someone a few months ago and everthing was fine. I noticed as well as others noticed that the 9V battery terminals he used to make them were of cheap quality which was confusing because I was told this is a high quality product. I contacted Schoepsnbox who happily said go ahead and ship the product and he will take a look. After a day or so he messages me asking for a paypal. I asked how much seeing as we had never previously discussed this. His answer was 125, I must say I was a bit taken back. To fix 3 terminals that cost no more than 5 dollar per unit, so I politely asked what was going on and commented on how next time i will make sure to discuss price before I send my product. His response was "That's a good plan..I'll ship once I see the money in the PayPal..thanks!" Thats when I knew this whole thing was going to go south.... I immediately paid an agreed 100 dollars and had him overnight the package. After receiving a package addressed to myself I opened it to reveal yet another package Addressed to "Dick Davidson" with his name and everything on it. I was extremely displeased as this isn't my name and this man was calling me a dick for simply asking about his prices. So after opening I look at the new terminals.. The terminals look sturdy and nice I was pleased but where the terminals lead into the machine he used a completely different kind of material to seal it. It was extremely smelly and still sticky. After plugging in and testing for 30 seconds everything seemed ok. The next day I went to a show to record and the left mic needed to be turned up a lot more than the other (This was never an issue) as the night went on i kept having to raise my levels by the end the machine was dead. Now when I attempt to do anything my levels are almost non existent on the right channel and non existent on the left! After confronting this man about all of this he got angry told me I was calling him a liar and told me he is refunding my money. I would never deal with someone like him ever again. He is very dishonest in what he is doing in his craft, I was warned by previous members of TS to be careful with him and I should have used that advice and just had a regular stereo repair man fix it..
