Title: Any way to record lossless on a Samsung Galaxy S3?

I have a set of Sound Professionals cardioid mikes and a battery box.  Any way I can hook them to my Galaxy S3 and record a show?   Is there an input jack adapter I would need?  What Android app would work as a WAV recorder?

Unfortunately, there's no way to get a stereo input on the stock 3.5mm jack.  It may be possible with a USB DAC and an OTG cable though using this app:

I have an S3 and looked into this quite extensively.  I abandoned the idea as it seemed more work than it was worth, especially after finding out you can't use an external audio source for video recording.  The app Gene linked is what you need for USB audio.  Just be careful about the OTG cables.  Some USB devices are going to need more power than the 5V your phone can supply, so there's a type of OTG cable that splits data and power, running off an external battery pack like we use for everything else around here.

Just pony up for a recorder. You can get a perfectly good device for dirt cheap nowadays...

Yeah, I guess so, thanks to everyone for their replies.

I used to use a GMini which worked really well, but it won't hold a charge anymore.  I used to record every show I went to, and i stopped going to as many concerts and the recording gear got put away.  But I'm going to a show next week with great seats and not too many shows from the tour have surfaced in the recording community.

not "affiliated" but am interested in another device he is selling and just looked at his post. spyder9 is a well regarded TS member and you should have no issues buying from him.
