flash cards
« on: May 13, 2008, 04:14:08 PM »
i went to newegg to check out some flash cards, thinking of getting a 16gb or maybe just another 8gb
The prices in the 16gb ranged from 60 bucks to about 200 ???
so what, if anything, is the difference

Some are probably faster, note that the "class" of a card refers to it's transfer rate, (I think). Class 4 is faster than Class 2, 6 faster than that. For two channel audio, Class 2 is adequate for recording, but you will get quicker transfers to the computer if the card has faster output.
