Title: Slow Audio from Corrupt File
Post by: Datfly on November 02, 2018, 10:36:20 AM
I taped a great show by Samantha Fish in Las Vegas (Schoeps MK41 & MK5o > DR-2d) and when the show was over & I went to hit stop
on the Tascam DR-2d it would not shut off. I let it go for a few hours but I finally pulled the batteries.

Of course the files are corrupt. The 2hr show clocked in at over 4hrs on the file.
It plays too slow and the last two songs skipped so bad that they had a 2 hour play time!

I am looking for someone who may have spare time to match the audio speed up to a sup par source I have,
a tascam DR-2d internal mic source that runs at the correct time.

Here is a song from above show I uploaded to YouTube using camera audio & Tascam Internal Mic audio.

Here is her next show in LV where everything worked out fine....

Sounds to me like you might have a corrupt header to the WAV file. If you get the correct sample rate in the header, it might play just fine. There must be a tool around here to fix that for you.
