Hmmmmm......this Martel DM-246 machine looks awfully familiar.

I can't get a good look at it, though.

It seems that its internal mics might have been photoshopped away, in all the pix I can find.

Anybody have one of these, and are the mics still present?

Def been photoshopped away, look at the side view with xlr in, you can see the internal mics.

My r44 (bought off eBay)  boots with martel splash screen yet is running latest r44 firmware.

Can it use the same firmware updates as the R44?

Mine is an r44. I'm guessing someone tried to flash it to a Martel.  It's running the latest r44 firmware (as it is an r44).

Hey,  I just purchased this Martel DM-246.  But it is clearly the edirol r-44.

But just has a sticker I’ve the edirol name on the device and instruction manual.

Very confusing.

It was overlooked and mislabeled in an online auction,  so it’s on its way to me now.

Anything I should worry about ?
