Attenuator for njb3?
« on: June 08, 2005, 08:37:26 PM »
I recorded a Iron Maiden tribute band recently and they were kind enough to offer me a sbd patch (broke my cherry!).  The sound is generally good, but there is some slight distortion when the singer is belting it out (especially with the backup vocals from one of the guitarists), so i'm wondering what can i do to insure this doesn't occur again?  I recorded from the board's rca outs>line in on the njb3.  I had the levels set to -12, 16/44 wav file.  Would a line level attenuator do the trick?  Or is it possible for the sbd guy to lower the levels on the rca out from the board?  Just wondering, thanks for any help!

"Every time I see a group of teenagers gathered around an iphone laughing at some youtube video, I walk up to them, slap the iphone out of their hand, get right up to them nose to nose, and scream at the top of my lungs:

TAKE A LOOK

IT'S IN A BOOK

READING FUCKING RAINBOW."
