Title: Remote Power for Portico 5012
Post by: Big Perm on March 23, 2013, 10:55:12 PM
I have looked through the threads, and it seems the Battery Geek battery seems to be the top answer, but they are all pretty old, so I thought I would start a new one and see what others are doing to power this pre.

Battery Geek 10-14-88 is what I ran with the pre. I'm sure they have an updated model though.

Found... What a great company battery geeks is! I emailed them to ask when they would have more in stock. They contacted me immediately to say they had one left and made it available to me to buy. Did I mention this all happened at 11pm central. Very cool!

A fellow taping buddy ordered a battery from them on their website and they called him back and offered to drop it off in person that evening since they both were located in Austin.  Pretty sweet.
