Opinions wanted [Custom LSD2 content]

Well it's now time to jump  all in.  The powdercoat test went great with the old shock piece that they made a replacement for.  Now the question remains..


1]  all black /  even the shock
2]  all black  / shock silver
3]  ala 422 one screen left silver all others black.


opinions wanted.

Good luck on project and I would go all black for sure for low pro at shows w/ LD.

hmmm, all black looks cheap to me tho! Altho thats prolly what id go for just to be a lil more lo-pro!

I've got a SP-LSD2 version 1 purchased from Nick'sPicks and couldn't be happier with the ALL black powder-coating!

I think you are actually on to something.  The powder coating increases the absortion ability of the case and limits reflections.  This aint snake oil folks!   ;)

2 pieces left which I am leaving to the professionals.  Requires desoldering.  So I'm going to Busmans on Saturday.  While I had it open thought I'd take some pics..






Think I'm gonna leave the screens silver...

I'd leave it silver, but if I were going black, I'd do everything except the screens.  Can you detach the little red SP logo, and then put it back on?  Mask the screw threads.  If the coating is very thick the threads will bind terribly.
