But a few of the bigger changes are:
Automix
Hybrid limiters
Line/mic switchable inputs
Maintaining timecode even when switched off
Can be used as an USB interface and recording at the same time

Some new or different meter views, the AA battery tray appears to have been eliminated in favor of spots to directly put the batteries...

Probably the *ONLY* change the F8n has which I do not like.

Sweet news for "F8 original" owners, the F8n app will work with the F8 as well! (hopefully this mean app bug fixes, as it has been a long time since the iOS app had an updated! Plus general usability improvements)

 

"The F8 will be compatible with the F8n app which will include some updates!"

Sadly :-( As I certainly am an Android fanboy.

Ah well, at least a secondhand iPod Touch is dirt dirt cheap! I will buy one (or two?) one this week to be ready and prepared for my F8n's arrival! Heck, even an iPad Mini is a cheap investment.
