pretty neat but at 1200$ US there are much better options.

Pretty damn cool...  Though with their battery options, I would have thought they would disregard the 9v battery option and go with an external power system...  That frees up more room for other items, such as L/R output via 2 mini-xlrs (rather than the break out cable) and maybe fancy lights...

But the thing does look pretty sweet...

I'm fine with the price tag if the sound matches! The website is pretty vague though and I can't imagine seeing any tapes made with this unit anytime soon.

I like the form factor a lot :)
