Go to Lowes or Home Depot's Plumbing department...Street connectors, adapter for 1/2" to 3/4" PVC pipe, 1/2" and 3/4" pipe with a saw kerf to snake the microphone cable out of the PVC pipe

Will...down the road I ditched the Tensi-Mounts and just put the 3/4" PVC pipe into the WindTech mount...smaller more compact and just as secure

This is a great DIY project that won't even cost $10. I use a ssm shock for my DINa PVC mount and it works like a charm. The windtech will definitely be lowpro.

Another variation ....

I've utilized the yellow pvc ( inside dimension vs. white's outside dimension) and secure the mics with rubber grommets. The grommets fit very securely in the pvc and grip the mics super tight. I went with a center 'T' mount into which I can vary the length of pipe to R/L. I also use a short piece for the down tube, just long enough to slip into a Shure Donut. Again, the fit is secure - no spin or wobble. Pictured is the DIN mount. In addition to the length of Right / Left sections, the 45* elbows can be swapped for 90* to give AB. I snake the mics up through the 'T' , but this must be done with the capsules off to make the 90* turn.

Once in place it can remain. No disassembly needed except for capsule removal when changing elbows. This is the stock set with 25' cable that I tech flexed. I don't remember the size but it was not necessary to remove the mini xlr connectors to run both cables through. I don't own a set yet, but I'm sure big ass shure windscreens would cap this off nicely.

I hope the photo attached properly ...

here we go
1/2 tube into 45 into 1/2 with windtech shock
used a dremel to cut the slit for the cables, it runs from the front edge to the middle of the joint
the cap does fit 100% but its tight enough i don't think it will move easy

edit damn iphone, off course it goes the other way on a stand
