"This is a common practice we have on the bus; debating facts that we could easily find through printed material. It's like, how far is it today? I think it's four hours, and someone else comes in at 11 hours, and well, then we'll... just... talk about it..." - Jeb Puryear

And by Manfrotto's standards, I think the price for the kits is actually less than I was expecting.

Haha... me too.  I went to check what they were - $59 for 3 rods, $80 for 6 rods on B&H.  I wasn't shocked, which surprised me.

I just scored one of the 6-piece sets on eBay for $59.99 with free (economy) shipping from Canada.  It was a one-day auction that I stumbled upon with just a few hours left.  Luckily, no other bidders.  It looks like the seller just listed another one, also a one-day auction.  It would take some coordination (and hope that there are more auctions to follow) for multiple interested people to try to snag one at that price without bidding each other up.

Actually, it looks like there are two of them up at that price, one of them with a bid already.
