« on: May 08, 2004, 12:37:16 PM »
So, the solder joints on my homemade canare xlrs were coming undone, so  I resoldered them last week. Check them out, they were working fine. Fire them up yesterday and Im getting noise... (see below MP3) Does anyone know what this could be, or why it is doing it? THANKS A LOT!

that can be a number of things- that sounds like a loose cable connection or a rubbing connection.  i might suggest checking that soldering again.  also check the fit of all your cables together.

Cold solder... Or broken wire... Cut it back and try again...
