When doing a tech review on MR-1
http://www.sonicstudios.com/mr-1revw.htm#power I noted the external input power is 5 volts, just like Microtrack deck, but at over 2-times power.
So I tried the regulated sleds meant for Microtrack, but with exact MR-1 power plug instead of MT miniUSB. Found these sleds also work flawlessly to handle the MR-1 for up to 25 hours
continuous running time. Microtrack models shown, and same $ for MR-1 versions on chart at:
www.sonicstudios.com/batsys98.htm#chrtWhile I failed to test this on loaned MR-1, to
maybe get 2+ hours suggest really cheap Energizer 'Energi-to-Go' (USB/5-volt versions) found to pack out a lot of 5 volt power on regular alkaline AA
only if left connected and working continuously until exhausted.
At that point you're
seamlessly back running on the internal MR-1 battery until loading another 2 AA into the Energizer for again maybe another couple of hours.
