Title: Clamp help!
Post by: greenmtnsrider on March 31, 2013, 02:29:57 PM: I'm trying to find an adapter that would allow me to mount my stereo bar on the Pedco Ultraclamp 4" clamp. I believe I need a 1/4 female to 5/8 male adapter, but I'm coming up empty trying to find one. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would me much appreciated. Thanks!

Post by: flipp on March 31, 2013, 02:40:25 PM: The only one-piece adapter I'm aware of is the AEA-TA1 (http://www.ribbonmics.com/aea/Modular_Microphone_Stands.html) (about 4/5 down the page). I vaguely recall someone posted another one here on ts but I don't recall who posted, who makes the adapter or where on ts the post is.

The above is rather expensive. You'll save some money by using a 1/4>3/8 then a 3/8>5/8 adapter. Both can be had from B&H photo cheaper than the above one-piece.
