ATU853A Mic bodies and Old Style Caps
« on: August 01, 2013, 05:21:36 PM »
I recently had my ATU853A microphones modified for 3-wire minixlr. So I want to put them into action more often. These are the newer style bodies from Sound Pros.

My question is: Are there any issues when using the "old school" caps on them? I have older style SubCards and Hypers that I want to try using with them. Anyone have experience doing this?

Thanks in advance,

David

I've always prefered the sound of the older caps over the u series, the new bodies just have better rf protection
